Refund Policy

Last updated: Draft — pending founder approval

How refunds work, written now rather than when you need one. Subscription billing is not switched on yet, so nothing has been charged to anyone — this policy governs from the day it is.

Try before you pay

Every account starts with a free trial that needs no card. Nothing is charged when it ends, and no subscription starts automatically. The trial exists so that a refund is rarely the conversation.

Monthly subscriptions

If you are unhappy in the first seven days of a monthly charge, write to us and we will refund it in full. After that, cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for; we do not refund part-months.

Yearly subscriptions

If you are unhappy in the first thirty days of a yearly charge, write to us and we will refund it in full. After thirty days we refund the unused whole months, less any month already used, at our discretion where the reason is something we got wrong.

If we broke something

If Dukaaan was unusable for a meaningful stretch, or a defect of ours cost you the use of what you paid for, say so. We would rather refund a period than argue about it.

How to ask

Email us from the address on your account and say what happened. There is no form and no queue — the person who reads it is the person who builds the product.

How refunds are paid

Back to the original payment method, through our payment provider. Banks typically take five to ten working days to show it. We never hold card details ourselves.

What is not refundable

Time on a free trial, since nothing was paid, and periods you used in full and are simply choosing not to renew.

Did this answer it?

If it did not, write to the person who built Dukaaan. You get a reply from someone who can change the product, not a ticket number.
